India without cricket is living without breathing, which is of course not possible. For Indians cricket is the religion. For a moment one can forget the god but it’s impossible for them to forget about the cricket. For each Indian, Sachin Tendulkar is the demigod. People are completely maddening about the Live Cricket Score. They stop their work; postpone their meeting and schedules for being connected through the updates of the cricket. At the present scenario, the Indian cricket team is currently ranked first (as of 6 December 2009) by the ICC in Tests and second (as of 6 December 2009) in ODIs. As of the statistics of December, 2009, the Indian team has played 430 Test matches, winning 101, losing 136 and drawing 195 of its games, with 1 match ending in a tie. It has been considered the India has a relatively better record in One Day Internationals, winning over 50% of matches played. Currently, Indian cricket tam in under the supervision and coaching of Gary Kirsten and the Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the captain in all forms of the game. It has been proved by the statistics that under the leadership of Dhoni, the Indian team has set a national record for most back-to-back ODI wins (9 straight wins). Even it has emerged as one of the most formidable teams in international cricket. The cricketers in India are treated as demigod. If they win the match then people are completely mad about them and even they get many type or rewards in the way of financial rewards, endorsements or by the government awards like Khel Ratan etc. but when India lose some match then, we have seen the adverse side of Indians as well. At this time they are not even afraid to throw the stone on the cricketer’s house or to burn their effigy. The Indian are mad about cricket India. At the time of world cup, people start taking off from the work or students bunk school and colleges and do many things to see and follow the cricket score. For all of them team India has to win the match. They follow the cricket match as a tradition. And somehow forget the meaning of sport’s spirit. In every game, one team has to lose and one to win. So it’s not the end of the world if India loses some match against Australia, Pakistan or Sri Lanka. There is no need to be over volatile for any such situation. BCCI is the governing board of the Indian cricket team of all forms of cricket. It is said to be the best and the richest cricket board of the world. India has been one team on which the eyes of all the spectators are glued. They have seen India growing from the nowhere. Technically if analyzed Indian cricket team has grown stronger at home than abroad. The Indian team has improved its overseas. In the start of the 21st century, it has won the Cricket World Cup in 1983 and was also runners-up in 2003. It also won the inaugural World Twenty20 in 2007 under the leadership of M. S. Dhoni. The Indian cricket team had and even has the world’s leading players, including Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Kumble and Rahul Dravid who hold numerous cricketing world records. So, overall, Indian Cricket Team is doing wonders and will keep doing it hopefully.
